On Friday 9 May 2025, we marked a major milestone – 10 years of Her Heart – with an inspiring celebration at Leonda by the Yarra. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported the event. Together, we shared moving stories, inspired conversations, and strengthened a community committed to making change in women’s heart health.

Highlights from the day

Our 10th Anniversary was a heartwarming gathering of health professionals, philanthropists, advocates, and community members united by a shared mission to transform women’s heart health.

We were honoured to hear from two remarkable women during the event’s keynote sessions. Her Heart Founder & Director Prof. Linda Worrall-Carter reflected on a decade of impact and how Her Heart has grown into a strong, supportive community dedicated to championing women’s heart health.

We also heard from Dr. Susan Alberti AC, Her Heart Advisor, who spoke passionately about the vital role of advocacy in advancing women’s health and empowerment. Their insights reminded us of how far we’ve come – and the important work still ahead.

We were moved by the heartfelt panel discussion featuring Cindy McCall, Debra Clare, and Tabitha Tworek, who courageously shared their heart health journeys. Each story was a powerful reminder of the emotional and physical challenges women face – and the strength it takes to overcome them. The panellists spoke about the critical need for support, education, and access to resources to help women prioritise their heart health, and how Her Heart has played a meaningful role in their journeys, providing a trusted space for connection and empowerment. Their voices inspired us all to keep the conversation going and ensure no woman feels alone in her heart health journey.
