Her Heart Women At Every Stage of Life

Heart disease affects over 3.5 billion women worldwide and 12.4 million women in Australia. Behind every number is a woman with her own story; her passions, pressures, ambitions, and dreams. At Her Heart, we honour this diversity. We see the whole woman, not just her risk factors. No matter your age, background, or life journey, you deserve a healthy heart and the knowledge to protect it.

We understand women's lives

Women often carry the emotional, mental, and physical load of the people they love. We juggle careers, families, relationships, responsibilities and too often, our own health falls to the bottom of the list.

Her Heart exists to change that.

We recognise that:

• Women’s health needs shift across life stages
• Social expectations and caring roles impact wellbeing
• Many women don’t recognise their heart disease risk
• Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, taking one woman every hour in Australia
• Up to 80% of premature heart disease is preventable

Knowledge is power — and prevention is possible.

Your life stages, your heart health

Every woman’s journey is unique, but many of us move through similar chapters. Understanding where you are in that journey can help you take meaningful steps to protect your heart.
Experiencing Life
Young women exploring independence, identity, and possibility. Heart health may not be top of mind but establishing good heart health habits early matters.
Designing Life
Building careers, relationships, and routines. Choices made now will shape long‑term wellbeing and set a strong foundation for a healthy heart.
Balancing Life
The busiest years. Work, family, and responsibilities collide. Fatigue and stress rise, and self‑care often slips away. Additional factors such as pregnancy can impact your risk of heart disease during these years.
Managing Life
Midlife brings new clarity. Careers evolve, children grow, parents age and as women gain back the time they lost in the earlier busier years they can begin to prioritise their own health and values again. The onset of menopause comes with many challenges and is linked to higher risk of heart disease.
Sharing Life
Later years offer wisdom, perspective, and time. Women become mentors, caregivers, and leaders and deserve to enjoy these years with a strong, healthy heart.
