Her Heart and the Sisterhood Foundation Partnership
Her Heart is proud to be a charity partner of the Sisterhood Foundation. An organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women and girls across Australia.
Through a three-year capacity-building partnership, the Sisterhood Foundation is helping Her Heart strengthen our organisation, extend our reach and increase our impact for women’s cardiovascular health.
Why this partnership matters
Heart disease remains a leading cause of death among Australian women, yet it is still too often under-recognised, underdiagnosed and undertreated. Almost 20 Australian women die from heart disease every day, and around 80 per cent of heart disease can be prevented through healthy lifestyle choices and early detection.
Her Heart and the Sisterhood Foundation share a commitment to creating better health outcomes for women. Together, we are working to ensure more women have access to trusted information, practical tools and the support they need to understand and protect their heart health.
Our partnership in action
The partnership extends beyond funding. Through Sisterhood Foundation events and its community of supporters, Her Heart is bringing women’s heart health into more everyday conversations and reaching women who may not otherwise recognise their risk.
Since becoming a charity partner, Her Heart has participated in a range of Sisterhood Foundation initiatives and events. These opportunities help raise awareness, build valuable connections and generate support for our work.
