Her Heart exists to improve the heart health of Australian women.<\/span><\/h4>\n

With <\/span>almost one woman dying every hour<\/strong>,<\/span> heart disease remains the leading cause of illness and death among Australian women.<\/span><\/h4>\n

And with heart disease costing the Australian health system around<\/span> $14.3 billion a year<\/strong>,<\/span> it\u2019s time to take a stand and save more lives.<\/span><\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner el_class=”about-box box-right”][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”heading-l”]\n

Awareness<\/strong>:<\/span> Raising awareness of heart disease in women of all ages.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Education<\/strong>:<\/span> Educating and supporting health professionals, while also educating women, about the prevalence, risk factors and symptoms of heart disease in women.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Research<\/strong>: <\/span>Completing further research around attitudes, behaviours and uptake on prevention.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Advocacy<\/strong>:<\/span> National action on women and heart disease, advocacy and policy.<\/span><\/h4>\n
