Professor Rochelle Wynne is Chair of Nursing in the Western Health–Deakin University Partnership and a clinical academic nurse leader whose research focuses on cardiovascular health, sex-based differences in cardiovascular disease, patient-centred outcomes, implementation science and health services research. She leads national and international interdisciplinary programs spanning digital health, quality improvement and workforce development, with a strong emphasis on translating evidence into practice and building clinical research capacity. Rochelle serves on the Boards of the Australian Cardiovascular Alliance and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ), where she is Chair of the Professional and Ethical Standards Committee. She is a founding member of the Cardiac Surgery International Nursing and Allied Professional Research Network (CONNECT), the Women in Cardiovascular Trials Group, Editor-in-Chief of Contemporary Nurse, and Associate Cardiac Surgery Editor for the European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing.
