Dr Simone Marschner is a Senior Research Fellow and Head Biostatistician at the Westmead Applied Research Centre, University of Sydney. An experienced biostatistician with more than 20 years of experience spanning government, industry, and academia, her recent research focuses on women’s cardiovascular health. Since completing her PhD in 2024, she has published eight papers in this area. Her presentation today is based on work first presented at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Madrid in 2025 and later published in The Lancet Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health.
