Dr Fiona Foo is an experienced Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist working with Sydney Cardiology Group, Macquarie University Health and Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital.
She is one of a small number of female interventional cardiologists in Australia with interests in heart disease in women; environmental determinants and non-traditional risk factors for cardiovascular disease; and sports cardiology. She chairs the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ) Planetary Health and Sustainability Working Group and co-chairs the Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA) NSW Committee. She is a Clinical lecturer at Macquarie University; co-chairs the Macquarie University Health Sustainability group; created the HER (Heart, Endocrine, Renal) Women’s Health Network at Macquarie University Health; and is part of The Skin Hospital Multidisciplinary Psoriasis clinic. She regularly teaches interventional cardiology in developing countries, such as Nepal and Fiji – visiting CWM Hospital in Suva regularly for the last 15 years.
